Four sizes of stainless steel Vantimond UQD socket and plug pairs Vantimond

Designed around a defined liquid cooling interface

Final performance and interchangeability are confirmed by nominal size, mating interface, coolant chemistry, pressure loss, and issued model data.

01

Precision metal construction

316L stainless steel and chrome-plated brass are available construction directions, selected by coolant chemistry and project requirements.

02

Coolant-specific sealing

EPDM and FKM sealing options are matched to the approved water, glycol, or project-specific coolant formulation.

03

Controlled separation

Flush-face dry-break architecture is intended to limit coolant release during servicing and hot-swap procedures.

UQD Series

Four published OCP interface sizes

The model code identifies the OCP nominal interface. Hose and port terminations are specified separately.

Vantimond UQD-02OCP UQD02: 1/8 in nominal interface

Compact chassis and internal equipment-loop connections.

OCP example barb
1/4 in tubing
Minimum Cv
0.25
Vantimond UQD-04OCP UQD04: 1/4 in nominal interface

Server, cold-plate, and higher-flow equipment connections.

OCP example barb
3/8 in tubing
Minimum Cv
0.80
Vantimond UQD-06OCP UQD06: 3/8 in nominal interface

Rack manifold branches and equipment distribution loops.

Flush-face dry-break connection

The plug and socket close on both sides when separated. This architecture supports service access while controlling the amount of coolant released during a connect or disconnect cycle.

  • Hand-mate, latched connection
  • Supply and return identification options
  • Coolant and seal compatibility review
  • Flow coefficient and pressure-drop selection

The OCP specification recommends the catalog statement “Dimensional & performance requirements conform to OCP Universal Quick Disconnect (UQD) Specification rev 1.0” only for products that meet those requirements. Vantimond model compliance should be published after the corresponding dimensional and performance records are available.

From connector interface to rack distribution

Selection starts with the cooling architecture, then confirms connector size, termination, flow demand, coolant, allowable pressure loss, service access, and redundancy.
